Patty van den Elshout is a multi-disciplinary designer and photographer with a unique approach to

her work. Her design philosophy centers on material innovation to create tactile, sculptural pieces

that challenge conventional notions of form and function. She draws inspiration from the beauty

and mystery of nature, exploring themes of transformation and metamorphosis using texture and

form in combination with the movement of light. The sense of tactility plays an important role in

her designs as she strives to find a balance between light and dark, smooth and textured, and

perfection and imperfection.
